So, Vogue's Fashion Night Out!
and to reiterate: a much overdue post! apologies!
I hate to be negative about anything to do with Vogue as it is such an amazing magazine, although I’m afraid that this year Vogue’s Fashion Night Out didn’t outdo itself. Last year I thoroughly enjoyed the night – starting with a party in Harvey Nicholls, free drinks, ice-cream and make-overs; then over to Mulberry for some British inspired canapés, a goody bag and face painting – it was an amazing night. Although unfortunately this year I was left not too impressed!
(My friend) Kairo and I started our night by heading to Louis Vuitton – mainly to get a glimpse of the Yayoi Kusama work, and inside we did have a lot of fun with the professional photo-booth and some free (non alcoholic) beverages. Although there was a lot of queuing involved! We then headed down to the nearby Mulberry where we were left waiting outside for 55 minutes!!!!
By the time we got inside all of the goody bags had gone, so it seems had most of the customers… There was a prize draw going on although we were left no time to enter it, and the food had more or less run out! – very disappointing as it was actually Mulberry who were hosting Vogues official FNO party. Although not all negative! There was a fab company fun flip who take super quick snaps of you whilst you make a fool of yourself dancing around in front of a camera (who doesn’t love doing that – generally my usual Friday night at uni) which is then turned into a flick book in about 5-10minutes GENIUS!
Hopefully next years FNO is more well organised!
